US surrounds Iran with colossal military build-up - Red alert in all branches of Iranian ED
World peace hangs by a thread: US surrounds Iran with colossal military build-up - Red alert in all branches of Iranian ED
A mistake or a provocation is enough...
26.10.2023
Iran's Supreme Military Command has ordered the Army to be put on general alert and to begin large-scale exercises for all branches of the country's Armed Forces as the US continues to deploy massive forces in the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Gulf of Oman.
Iran is preparing for a generalized conflagration in the region, something about which B. Putin warned yesterday, saying that "the conflict can expand outside the Middle East".
There are several "Hawks" in the US and Israel who see the US military build-up as a unique opportunity to strike Iran now. A mistake or a provocation is enough...
Red alert in all branches of Iran's EDs
In response to the increase in the number of US troops and military equipment in the Eastern Mediterranean, IRGC missile units and drone bases on the coast of the Persian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman have been put on heightened combat readiness.
Iran has announced the start of large-scale military exercises codenamed Ektadar next week. This was broadcast by the Voice of Israel radio station.
According to the publication, all branches of the Armed Forces will participate in the exercises: Air Force, Army, Navy, Missile Forces, the Iranian Guard Corps, etc.
At the same time, there is no doubt that such large-scale exercises are directly related to Tehran's preparation for the worst-case scenario.
Tehran's decision to conduct large-scale military exercises can hardly be called unexpected.
The situation in the Middle East is becoming more alarming every day. The United States and its allies, especially Great Britain, continue to concentrate their forces in the Middle East.
Colossal US military build-up
The number of US warships ready to cover the IDF ground operation in Gaza and prevent Iran from possibly entering the conflict is approaching… 36!
Strong US Navy forces were concentrated in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Oman.
Currently there are two aircraft carriers, two cruisers, one helicopter carrier, 11 destroyers, ships, two landing craft and one control ship.
At least three Virginia- and Los Angeles-class nuclear-powered submarines are also estimated to have been sent into the potential collision zone.

The US sent the USS Thomas Hudner to Erythra
The Pentagon has sent yet another guided-missile destroyer, the USS Thomas Hudner, to the Red Sea, whose primary mission will be to protect Israel from the threat of Yemen's Houthis.

It is noted that yesterday the USA announced the deployment of 12 new anti-aircraft systems in the Middle East.
This is a THAAD anti-ballistic missile defense system artillery currently en route to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while at least 11 MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems will be deployed to sites in Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq , Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
